Re: let us know you are here

Hello everyone!!!!!!!

I am so glad to finally be here!!!! AB told me about it a week ago and the email got lost in my huge inbox of emails, lol. Someday, I have to clean out the thousands of emails in there, hahaha. (I need to turn off that facebook notifications thing!)

My kids have been really sick (sinus infections and fevers). Plus, I have had it for almost two weeks now. I missed two days of school this week taking care of them, and my daughter missed 4 days of school! Thankfully my ex-MIL helped out and watched her the other two days. They are finally getting better now.

Btw, I am a 36 year old, single mom of a 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter. My divorce is almost final, all of the papers are signed, I just have to come up with the money to pay off the lawyer, so that she can file the paperwork. I wish that I didn't have to get divorced, but believe me, everyone is much better off, if we do so. Long story, but I really believe that Yahweh wouldn't want me living with that man, because it was an abusive relationship. Maybe this is too personal? But I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about me.

Thank you so much, AB, for creating this forum!!! YAY!!!

Re: let us know you are here

Thanks, AB!! I have missed you so much too!!! I agree, I think that "being personal" helps us to know each other better and what we need to pray about for them.

I know that I have a hard time, keeping up with all of the different websites that I visit. It takes a lot of time and my "housework" is in dire need of attention, because of it, lol.

Re: let us know you are here

Hello all!

Thanks to Gloria for inviting me here. I have been studying Torah for about a year through an online Torah class taught by a born again Christian who is well educated in ancient Hebrew culture and language. It is fascinating and our family has changed our lifestyle quite a lot through the study.

I'm a wife to my darling husband Tom, a mom of 6 ages 27 - 8 and grandmother of a 4 month old and live in southeastern Michigan.

I think a lot outside of the current end times prophecy culture because I believe the trib has been going on since Yeshua Messiah died and will end the day He returns to claim His throne. I have an entirely different take on things like the AC, AOD, etc. I have studied the teachings of Ellis Skolfield for awhile now, which is more in tune what the Church taught until about 300 years ago. I believe that things will continually get worse and escalate until He has to come back or none will be left. We in the time of the end and the time of the gentiles is over.

The Torah is absolutely fascinating and without it the rest of the Word has absolutely no foundation. Even Romans 3:31 states "Does it follow that we abolish Torah by this trusting? Heaven forbid! On the contrary, we confirm Torah", and Matthew 5:17 in Yeshua's own words says, "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yudor a stroke will pass from the Torah - not until everything that must happen has happened."

If you're interested the Torah class can be found free online at www.torahclass.com Just click on Old Testament studies and you can either read the text online, print it or even download it to an MP3 player.

Looking forward to learning together!

Re: let us know you are here

Hi all,

I'm excited to have found this forum. I'm looking so forward to reading and learning more here in the future.

Several years back I became convicted on how un-biblical Christmas and Easter are and no longer celebrate them or the other holidays with unholy roots. I only started researching the topic of Torah and how it applies to all believers in Yeshua a couple of months ago. I had been reading some posts by some believers on "The Tree of Liberty" forum and that got me thinking and searching. Jim Staley's site "Passion for Truth" was recommended to me by a follower on a different forum and I have found his information to be convicting. In addition to DVD/audio sets for sale, he has much one can listen to for free. I ordered his "Church Audit" DVD set (as well as all his other materials!) and that, in addition to Richard Rives materials "Too Long in the Sun" and "Time is the Ally of Deceit" are what really got me started in this search. I've also recently begun listening to Torahclass, recommended by Kathe, and have been learning lots - some really good information (thanks Kathe!).

Thank you for providing this forum. While I may not post much, I will be reading and learning.

Blessings and shalom to you all!

Welcome Kathe! I would like to hear more of your thoughts! Thanks for sharing that link with us!

AB, I think she means "AOD" as abomination of desolation.

Re: let us know you are here

Thank you armorbearer! I would have enjoyed being here today, but it was not meant to be (just been one of those days).
I am grateful that I was told about this board by a sister in the Lord. I sadly admit that I am Torah ignorant but excited to learn! Thank you for this forum and the opportunity for me to learn.

Blessings!
